FinPath (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a personal financial planning tool that helps you model retirement scenarios, spending phases, and long-term projections. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you provide while using the App.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how it is used, and your choices regarding that information.

FinPath is designed to run entirely on your device. We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data on external servers.
However, the app may store certain data locally on your device to provide functionality.

Examples include:

• Ages, lifestyle expenses, and retirement assumptions
   
• Account balances and investment return assumptions
   
• College planning information
   
• Pension, Social Security, or work income
   
• Stress test assumptions
   
• Any other values manually entered into the app
   

This data is stored only on your device.
It is not transmitted to us, third parties, or external servers.

FinPath uses your input solely to:

• Run financial projections
   
• Display charts, tables, and results
   
• Save your settings so they persist between app sessions (optional)
   

Your data is only used locally on your device to perform calculations and display results.

Your inputs may be stored securely on your device using:

• Apple’s UserDefaults – for persistent settings
   
• Local device memory – for runtime calculations
   
• Temporary exported files (CSV or PDF) — only when you initiate an export
   

FinPath does not store data on any remote servers.

You may delete all saved local inputs at any time using the Reset Defaults button inside the app.

We do not collect, share, sell, or distribute any personal information.

Because FinPath does not communicate with external servers, your data never leaves your device unless you choose to export it.

If you share a CSV or PDF export using Share Sheet, the file will be sent only to the destination you select (e.g., email, AirDrop, cloud storage).

FinPath does not integrate with third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

The only third-party components are:

• Apple’s system frameworks (Charts, SwiftUI, UIKit, etc.)
   
• Apple’s Share Sheet for exporting your plan
   

These system components do not receive your financial data unless you choose to share exported files.

FinPath does not collect personal information and is suitable for use by adults planning finances.
Because the app stores only anonymous numeric inputs, it does not retain identifiable information about children.

If you are a parent or guardian and have concerns, you may delete all local data using the Reset Defaults button.

Since all data is stored locally:

• Your device’s built-in security protections (Face ID, Touch ID, passcode) apply.
   
• No information is transmitted over the internet.
   

We recommend keeping your device up to date with the latest iOS security updates.

You may:

• Reset all data at any time using the Reset Defaults button
   
• Delete exported files manually from your device or cloud service
   
• Disable iCloud backup if you prefer exported files not be stored there
   

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
If changes are made, the “Last Updated” date above will be revised.

You should review this policy periodically.
